Jag vill ha en Dodge Challenger SRT10...nu....

Bilen som kunde ha blivit om inte finanskrisen kom...

I mitt nästa liv vill jag ha nedan kombination.....

That thing got a Hemi in it?
Nope. Doesn't need one. It has a Viper V10.
Oh. Ohhhhh.

The Challenger SRT10 Concept, as you no doubt know, sports the 8.4L V10 engine from the Viper SRT10. All 600 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque in that retro mod muscle car is probably too much power for the Challenger's rear tires, so expect smokey skies to always accompany overambitious throttle inputs. Besides the obviously welcome Viper mill, the Challenger SRT10 concept features a carbon fiber front splitter and rear deck lid, a new rear spoiler, BILSTEIN shocks at all four corners, larger wheels, bigger brakes and quad exhaust tips out back. There's also carbon fiber trim inside the cockpit along with new sports seats and a red engine push-button start just like in the Viper. It all ads up to one seriously awesome piece of retro goodness. Check out the gallery of live shots and the full press release after the jump.

We left last week's SEMA Show in Las Vegas with a much deeper respect for the Dodge Challenger. We're so used to seeing Mustangs dominate the automotive aftermarket trade show and expected the new Chevy Camaro, which was actually the Official Car of SEMA this year, to make a big splash. But it was the Challenger that was on hand in droves, be it from independent shops and tuners who got their hands on one to play with or Dodge itself, which showed up at SEMA with three Challenger concepts, the most impressive of which was arguably the Challenger SRT10 Concept (the other two were the Challenger Targa and Blacktop). Imbued with the Viper's 8.4L V10 producing 600 horsepower, as well as functional upgrades like a ram air scoop, carbon fiber front splitter, Bilstein shocks and bigger wheels and brakes, the Challenger SRT10 arrived in Vegas ready to do business. Unfortunately, the business at hand was looking pretty in Dodge's display. Thankfully we found this video online of the Challenger SRT10 doing what we want it to: convert solid rubber into a gaseous state. Follow the jump for a video of the Challenger SRT10 not only doing burnouts, but hustling around corners and blasting down straights like it was meant to do.

Viper power is not to be messed with. Viper power in a Challenger is a gift from the automotive gods.

Take in part this promotional video of the new SRT10 Challenger. We have been waiting for this video to surface for quite some time and now it is here on YOUTUBE. (Next time just send one to us Chrysler).  In this video the new SRT10 smokes more tires in one outing than a redneck does on  a yearly basis, and yes thats  a whole  lot of melted tire goodness. Sooo much smoke it was almost coming from our computer screen.

Smoking tires is easy though when you 've got a Viper V10 and 600 potent horses on tap. Could this car be cheaper on insurance with it having a backseat as well?  You could even throw the little ones back there. These are not possible with a Viper. With this logic, it will be so easy to convince your loved one its a must have.

It is just a total tease though, this is just a concept. People want this car , build it please Chrysler.
